| Honeybunch is a family owned Canadian business ! As a mother of two, I have practiced and seen the benefits of Attachment Parenting with my children. Finding the perfect baby carrier for myself, has been quite the journey! With my oldest, I used a baby carrier sold in most department stores. Once my daughter hit ten pounds, my back would start to ache! Fast forward to six years later. I purchased another baby carrier from a local department store for my second child. This carrier looked to be more comfortable and have more support! It could also be worn three ways: baby facing in, out, and baby on back. All this for only $55 plus taxes! Well... once my youngest hit 15 lbs, my back and shoulders started to ache! Then I tried to wear her on my back! Well, to actually do up all the snaps and buttons and get her on my back was hard enough! Once the carrier was on, the straps were digging into my chest! Well needless to say, I tossed the carrier! Following a recommendation, I bought a used baby sling! Once I figured out how to use it, it became an addiction! I loved the versatility that a sling offered! Having suffered some back injuries however, I felt I needed a carrier that distributed the weight evenly over both shoulders as my daughter got heavier! I did some research online and stumbled upon the Mei Tai carrier! I could not find one local business that sold Mei Tais or unpadded ring slings, so I decided to start my own business to make these products more accessible. I do babywearing consultations and sell online, as well as locally through Angel Worn! |
